Vilnius is situated in South East Lithuania (54°41" north latitude and 25°17" east longitude) beside confluence of Vilnia and Neris rivers. Geographical center of Europe is located in 20 kilometers distance from Vilnius center. The territory of city is 402 square kilometers.
